A little over a year ago, Hardin-Simmons University set a goal to raise $5.6 million to cover the initial construction costs of the Newman-Richardson Science Center. With the help of various donors, foundations, hard work, and prayer, HSU reached its goal and students are able to use several newly renovated labs THIS YEAR.

After meeting initial construction costs, HSU's next goal is to continue raising funds for a building endowment and expansion to strengthen HSU’s standing as a leader in STEM fields. For $300, you can sponsor a lecture hall seat for future HSU students, or sponsor three or more seats at a discounted rate.
